Our laboratory conducts research in the areas of high-complexity information and robot systems, with special attention to control theoretical applications in which the aim is to integrate human intelligence into otherwise automatic control processes. The research group therefore mainly deals with computer aided control design procedures requiring minimal human intervention, and in the meantime aims to efficiently embed human intelligence into robot control processes based on computational models of cognitive processes. Such embedded technologies are referred to as cognitive infocommunication between the human brain and the control circuit.
